She is a graduate of Purdue University in Food and Nutrition in Business and also holds a Culinary Arts degree with which she worked in restaurants for 15 years--most of them as a Pastry Chef. She is a Wisconsin Certified Master Food Preserver and has been teaching cooking, preservation, and knife skills classes (including wild food classes) to adults and children for over 15 years. She combines all of her loves in the food realm with her dedication to yoga (RYT 200) and enjoyment of creative movement and dance to bring her best energy to this weekend’s retreat"

*In these Wild food workshop(s), Annie, Gabe and Lizawill show you how to use the wild foods we identified on our nature hike to create bright, nutritious, and delicious pestos, dressings, salads, preserves, and ferments. Additionally, we will discuss flavor profiles and pairing as well as how to store your creations for longer term.
